Bedding and balcony plants are our passion. Volmary offers an extensive range of generatively and vegetatively propagated bedding plants. The range offers customised variety selections for both production nurseries and retail outlets. We breed important genera ourselves and thus offer exclusive varieties.

Our perennials:

Volmary offers a strong assortment of seed-, plug- and meristem-propagated perennials as young plants. Perennials are an important and growing segment in the product range. Volmary offers an attractive range of perennials from well-known breeders throughout the year. Special mention should be made of the company's own varieties in the perennial segment, which are selected for earliness, uniformity and producibility.

The focus is on the following areas:

  1. young plants in a wide variety of tray sizes - suitable for a versatile end product

  2. PowerLiner young plants from trays of 40 for fast and labour-saving annual production of summer-flowering perennials

  3. strong home-grown varieties of e.g. Lavandula, Coreopsis, Buddleja and Echinacea.




Our potted plants:

The world of pot plants with new and special varieties as well as well-known and proven varieties from renowned breeders can be found in the Volmary range. The exclusive poinsettia varieties, which are only available from Volmary, deserve special mention here. Thanks to their good transportability and high stress tolerance, the Q-ismas® varieties are characterised by an excellent shelf life in the trade and with the consumer.

The focus is on the following areas:

  1. cyclamen young plants from well-known breeders in different tray sizes

  2. the diverse range of poinsettias from Volmary offers many specialities such as the
    'Q-ismas®' varieties

  3. very good and vital qualities of young plants and unrooted cuttings

Our Biennials:

Violas and primroses are indispensable for the autumn and spring season. Volmary occupies an important market position here with its strong proprietary series such as the Viola x cornuta series Twix® and the primula series Jupiter®. The range consists of our strongest varieties and is peppered with many innovations.

The focus is on the following areas:

  1. strong series in the Viola x cornuta range: Twix® sets the standard in the market, Ice Babies® are particularly frost-hardy and present a lush profusion of flowers

  2. viola x wittrockiana: Carneval® is the top early-flowering series on the market

  3. innovative techniques for sowing Twix® for Mix young plants4. primroses for very early to late sales dates
